Aquatics Programs
The Pav YMCA has a number of different aquatics programs
for people of all ages as ability levels.Come see what we have
to offer.  For additional information, click the program title

Parent-Tot Swim Lessons
Our parent-Tot swim lessons introduces Children ages six months to 3 years to the
water.  Kids learn water adjustment skills, basic paddling and breath control, sing
songs, and play games with their mom, or dad, or both!  Make sure your child is wearing
a tight fitting swim diaper, such as the L'ttle Swimmers.  Classes run 30min long.
Preschool Swim Lessons
Our Preschool Program is for ages 3-5.  Its comprised for four ability levels ranging
from children who have never swam before, to those learning the front crawl.  Please
call, or see our brochure, about any questions regarding dates and times, or what
level you child should be in.  Classes run 30min long.
Youth Swim Lessons
Our Youth program covers children 6 years old and up.  We have levels for every
ability, ranging from first time swimmers to those learning competitive strokes and
techniques.  Please call about any questions regarding dates and times, or what level
you child should be in.  Classes run 45 min long.
The Pav YMCA also offers Adult swim lessons was well as private
lessons for all ages.  Call for details.
Aqua Aerobics
Our Aqua Aerobics classes are for adults of all ages and abilities.  Come as your
are, our instructors will work with what you have.  Aqua Aerobics is great for those
returning to excerise, as the water reduces the wear and tear on the body that
exercise can cause.  It also fits those looking for something new in the exercise
plan.  We have classes that meet two and three days a week, both morning and
evening times.
YMCA/Arthritis Foundation Smooth Moves Program
Our Smooth Moves program is for people with arthritis.  The curriculum is designed
by the Arthritis Foundation and classes are taught by Arthritis Foundation certified
instructors.  We have classes that meet, one, two, and three days a week, both
morning and evening.
SCUBA
The Pav YMCA as teamed up with DJ's SCUBA locker to offer SCUBA classes at
the PAV YMCA.  The classes prepare a person to make an open water dive and are
taught by PADI certified instructors.
